Successful companies are made up of satisfied employees

04/09/2022

Today is the first day of school 🏫🎒

Did you know that NNTB's platform started there?

Its founders, Honza, David and Pavel, faced bullying in elementary school. Mostly in the role of the silent majority who didn't like the situation but were afraid to speak up. So they decided to help their peers who find themselves in a similar situation.

That's why, at the age of 17, they created a web and mobile app called Don't Let It Bewhich allows children to easily, safely and anonymously alert a specific person at school to bullying and other types of risky behaviour to help them.

It has helped in several countries and children have used it to send 8,000 alerts about bullying, cyberbullying, sexual harassment, blackmail, self-harm, physical violence and other harassment that their classmates face on a daily basis

A whistleblowing platform for those who won't let it go.

NNTB (Don't Let It Be) acts as an online trust box.

Employees in companies and students in schools can send anonymous suggestions through the app and address anything that is not easy to talk about in person with the person in charge. It is a simple and secure tool for building an ethical company culture, dealing with whistleblowing and exposing bullying.

  • Sending notifications

Anyone can send an anonymous message in 2 clicks. Directly through the JOBka mobile app.

  • Processing in administration

The person in charge will receive a notification of the new message. They will see the message in a user-friendly administration where they can work with it further.

  • Follow-up communication

The solver will follow up with the notifier, ask for details and investigate the notice.

What experience have companies had with using a trust box?

Vítkovice Steel
Vítkovice Steel is a steel company operating on the premises of Vítkovice Iron and Steel Works in Ostrava, which employs 900 people.

After the introduction of the whistleblowing platform, employees started sending around 5-7 messages per month. Mostly, these are general and reassuring questions. For example, employees ask whether they understand the communication from the management correctly.

The introduction of the whistleblowing platform is developing the company culture beautifully - while 70% of people wrote anonymously after the whistleblowing platform was introduced, today it is only 30%. Employees have verified that they really can ask anything and are no longer afraid to write under their own name.

What do companies address in general?

In recent years, according to clients, the following problems have been the most frequently reported by employees through the trust box:

  • After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, some employees became concerned about the future of the company and their jobs.
  • When the company was reorganized (e.g., when it was under new ownership), employees wrote in with questions about the new processes, pointed out confusion, or expressed concerns about the future.
  • The Covid-19 pandemic brought with it a large number of measures and regulations that company management communicated to their employees. Employees then asked for details or checked that they understood the information correctly.
